In this blog, we’ve noted a number of parallels between rappers & politicians. So it’s inevitable that, in light of the recent Palin debacle featuring the RNC picking up 150k in Saks/Neiman bills for shawty, I am reminded of TI’s single “Whatever You Like” off his October album Paper Trail, with lyrics that eerily mirror Palin’s situation:
TI drops high praise for his girl: “Shawty you da hottest, love the way you drop it/Brain so good (good), swore you went to college.”
And rewards her as such: “Ya ain’t gotta downgrade you can get what I get/My chick could have what she want/And go in any store for any bag she want.”
Seriously now, after listening to the song a couple times, who can blame Palin for accepting a few new threads? Only half-witted haters, I guess.
