JOURNAL OF LAW, MEDICINE & ETHICS: INTRO TO WRITING PIECES FOR THE RECENT DEVELOPMENTS SECTION
The Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics (JLME) is a professional publication of the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics. The RDs we want are short notes (about 10 pages) that describe recent developments in health care law, biotechnology law, medical ethics, etc. They are written with a reporter-like tone, although they can take a side on an issue as long as all sides are fairly represented. Any HLS student is eligible to write an RD. No sub-citing or special expertise is required just a commitment to research, write, and revise. Contact us for a list of potential topics, but we’re open to anything recent that interests you.
The Proposal deadline is Feb 22. The final draft will be done before spring finals. Please submit a short description of your intended topic, research plan, and background to Paul Bailin ( pbailin at jd10.law.harvard.edu), Faina Shalts ( fshalts at jd10.law.harvard.edu) Sally Wang ( yuwang at jd11.law.harvard.edu), or Carmel Shachar ( cshachar at jd10.law.harvard.edu).
