We are pleased to announce that we will be offering summer housing in Holmes Hall and Dane Hall to HLS students. There is limited availability, so online application submissions will be processed on a first come, first serve basis.
To apply for Summer Housing, please fill out the online application:
Residence Hall rooms will be available in Holmes and Dane for summer housing from Monday, May 30, 2011 through Monday, August 5, 2011. Graduating students currently living in the HLS residence halls will be permitted to stay in their current room through the weekend after Commencement and will be required to move to their new room in Holmes or Dane on Monday, May 30, 2011. All summer rooms must be vacated by Monday, August 5, 2011. Students who currently live in Holmes Hall or Dane Hall and want to stay through the summer will be allowed to keep their current room.
Cost & Payment
The cost for a room is $35 per night (which is about $1,050 a month). Full payment for your entire summer stay in the form of a check or money order (made out to Harvard Law School) must be received by Becky Andreasson in the Facilities Management Office by the date specified in the confirmation email.
If you no longer need summer housing (whether you have received a room assignment, confirmed a room, or been placed on the waitlist) please email email@example.com. There is no cancellation penalty. However, we would like to know as soon as you are aware you will not require housing so that we can offer your room to a student on the waitlist.
If no rooms are available at the time of your application, you will be notified by email of being placed on the waitlist. Should a room become available, it will be offered via email to the first student on the waitlist, who will then have two days to accept or reject the room. In the past, we have been able to accommodate all of the students who want to live on campus during the summer.
