New Opportunities for work on Gender Violence

Diane Rosenfeld, Lecturer on Law, will be offering a new yearlong  Gender Violence Legal Policy Workshop (one credit per semester.) It offers the student hands-on experience in analyzing, evaluating and creating legal policy on a range of issues related to gender violence, including  preventing and addressing campus sexual assault using Title IX’s legal framework;  improving the criminal justice and community responses to intimate partner violence; and sex trafficking and prostitution.  Prerequisite: must be enrolled in either the Title IX seminar or the Gender Violence, Law and Social Justice seminar during the 2012-2013 academic year.
