The Office of Academic Affairs is now accepting applications for the 2013 Summer Academic Fellowship Program. The Fellowship is available available to current HLS JD, LLM, and SJD students interested in pursuing academic careers in law, particularly as law professors. It provides students with the opportunity to dedicate time over the summer to academic writing, under the guidance of a member of the faculty. The application deadline is extended to February 5, 2013. Information about the Fellowship can be found at: http://www.law.harvard.edu/academics/fellowships/summer-academic-fellowship-program.html
The Harvard Graduate School Leadership Institute (HGSLI) is a joint collaboration across Harvard graduate schools to help develop future generations of authentic and high impact leaders. HGSLI runs a Leadership Fellowship in which a cohort of 30 students from across Harvard graduate schools engages in an innovative program focused on personal experiences, authentic leadership development, and growth. HGSLI offers a combination of leadership insights from notable guest speakers; a toolkit and experiential exercises that can be utilized for personal and professional leadership development; and the opportunity to develop an intimate small group or “kitchen cabinet” of peer advisors to support Fellows over the course of their leadership journeys. Harvard graduate students pursuing advanced degrees from all schools are invited to learn more and apply at http://hgsli.com/. The application deadline is Friday, February 8, at 5pm.
