The Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center at Harvard, which is part of the Harvard Global Health Institute and for which Mark Barnes serves as faculty co-chair, is seeking one or two research assistants for approximately 20 hours per week for the fall semester, perhaps continuing into spring as well. Topics of research include clinical trial and drug approval process regulatory reforms in India and Brazil, as well as FDA and European Medicines Agency proposals for public access to clinical trials data compiled by the international pharma and medical device industry. Compensation is $15/hour, and work schedules are flexible. Participation as co-author in journal publications may be possible, dependent on an appropriate level of involvement.
