The problems with delayed Sunday strips strike again: Doonesbury’s
May 23 offering features the un-serendipitous image of a head on a
platter. The Allentown, PA Morning Call claims they have already
printed the strip.
How far in advance do you need to print these things? Somehow most
newspapers manage to serve up fresh, full-color daily papers with less
than 12 hours’ notice. Seems like it’s about time to start treating the
Sunday comics like the rest of the week.
