2006/01/19 Proposed Agenda
ø
- Introductions
- The Boston Weblogger Meetup
- Remind j to bring the glasses someone left at the last Weblogger Meetup
- We’re going to go to a 7:30 pm talk in the Ames Courtroom in Austin Hall about Restorative Justice in Jamaica featuring Rubin “Hurricane” Carter, a boxer who was wrongly imprisoned in the United States for many years. Denzel Washington brought attention to Carter’s story via the film The Hurricane. This talk may seem orthogonal to our group, but “Prof. Nesson wanted us to think about how we could use the Internet to communicate this message and involve people outside of the room at Harvard Law School where the talk will happen.” How can we use the Internet to help inmates, especially those wrongly imprisoned?
- Webcast (.rm).

If you’re headed straight to the food part of the evening, we will be there. CC has a lovely bar you can hang out at in the meantime….- This week: Weblog Meetup Week, so we picked a dinner time & location in advance. 9pm, Cambridge Common
- UPDATE: 9:10 the event is now in q&a, so some of our crew have headed over to Cambridge Common, and the rest of us will join them soon.
