    2006/02/16 Proposed Agenda

    7

My apologies for the /late late late/ agenda. There was a bit of confusion about who was going to post the agenda this week.

    • Introductions
    • What is our group’s name and mission?
      • If people who weren’t at the meeting last week attend, let’s fill them in on the name change update.
    • Well wishes for Michael as he prepares for surgery
    • Lots of nifty events this past week. Maybe people can share what they attended.
    • Soon:
    • Upcoming blog meeting stuff:

      • Andy Carvin, bandwidth waster, international traveler, blogger, sharer of fabulous tails and tales, who does really important things, has a new book coming out. When it’s available for distribution, he’ll tell us about it.
      • Dan Bricklin, known for his work on VisiCalc and wikiCalc
      • Possibly a superstar blogging librarian who’s giving a talk in the area
      • Ookles, perhaps — if their Boston road show works with a Thursday meeting
      • Someone who can fill us in on what’s happening with China and the Internet
    • dim sum on Feb 26?
