New initiatives in carpooling

This blog will be all about carpools and carpooling in general. Outside of public transport, carpooling can have the greatest impact on reducing traffic and pollution in cities. As such, all projects that promote people to share their rides to work or university should be encouraged. To get the ball rolling, here is a great carpool startup we found: Wedrive from Canada (but open to new users around the world). The interesting aspect of this carpooling initiative is that it helps you find partners to carpool with — people that have roughly the same commute as you. Obviously it works best when others from the same area where you live have signed up.
