Casas Walsh

So, why Casa Walsh? Well, in addition to being the residence of the Walshes on Beverly Hills 90210, arguably the most entertaining show ever broadcast on FOX, it’s the name of my imaginary college band. Maybe not so imaginary as unrealized. We had the members, Fran wrote some songs (including “Amanda Can Play the Drums” – I may post the lyrics one day, if I can get permission from the author), and most importantly we had a sweet name.

I did a google search on Casa Walsh which came up with a paltry 385 results. Here are the best:

Hee! That’s not embarrassing. Throwing a Bev9er party and dressing up like Steve Sanders is embarrassing.

hee hee — “not totally off base” is the understatement of the century, since the only other thing she offered as inspiration for the name is the band name, which is the same 90210 reference. all roads lead to 90210 when you talk with swans!

also, i would spell it “bev-niner” or MAYBE “bev 9’er”. but not as one word. at first glance it just looks like some weird hacker way of writing “beaver” and throwing that kind of party dressed up as steve sanders would -really- be embarrassing.
