It worked!!!!

No, I don’t have all sorts of free time on my hands today but I did just stumble across a new way to try to post a photo and…. it worked. And… it was easy!

Here are my boys:

My boys

Now that I’ve figured that out, I’ll try to post some house photos (finally)!

Venting

I just got back from setting up a two hour meeting, where the attendees were notified that lunch would be provided. This is not the first lunch meeting we’ve had for this group and since the numbers are somewhat unpredictable, we stick with the salad/pizza/soda/water thing because you can’t go wrong.

No, wait. You can go wrong. ‘Cause no matter what you do or who you do it for, you are sure to have one in the crowd that you just want to scream at!

“Is there coffee?” Fortunately, my response was immediate and was a simple “No, there’s not.” For, if I had had time to think about it, it would have been more along the lines of “Do you see coffee?” Or, better yet, “It’s freakin’ 12:30 in the afternoon. This a freakin’ lunch meeting (free lunch, remember). If you need coffee at 12:30 in the freakin’ afternoon, I suggest that you either a) get your own or b) see a doctor cause I think there might be something wrong with you”.

Okay, I’ll breathe again now. I usually do not let these things bother me because I know that there is one in every crowd that isn’t going to be happy. They’re not going to be happy because they’re never happy. My philosophy is to be thankful because it could be much, much worse. You see? That person who is never happy could be me. And I am oh, so thankful, that I am not that person!

How many bosses does it take…

… to screw in a light bulb?

One. To hold it up in the air while the universe evolves around it.
