Monotronics is for losers

I’ve gotten three calls trying to hawk stuff to homeowners since 9 this morning. The third made me crack up: “This is Tony from Monotronics“.

Which, once I’d gotten over the Pynchonesque name and asked the guy what it was, he said “It’s a home security system”. Of course it is, with a name like that. But no thanks.

I don’t normally post, but this reminded me of the news with Craigslist’s CEO demanding for an apology from the South Carolina attorney general. Always something different with CL and things in the news.

Thank you for the information on proxies. I have been researching proxies for a while now and cannot work out which proxy is best for me to use. I included a link in my reference which gives an IP tackle to be entered in to unblock websites. I cannot figure out if this is what I need to unblock websites.

OMG! I must say, your blog has to be one of the most well written blogs that I have read in a long time. What I wouldn’t give to be able to create posts that are as interesting| as yours. I guess I’ll have to keep reading your articles and pray that one day I can write on a subject with as much knowledge as you have! Bravo!!

All I can say is… please write more. Oh My God, it seems as though I watched a video instead of reading an article…it’s so clear. You totally know what you’re writing about. My thought was, why waste your intelligence on blog articles when you could be authoring books? Think about it. You’re very good at what you do. WORD!
