Exploring annoyances

Hoovers, which I like, and of which I was once a customer, wants me to take a “free trial” but buries what the cost will be once the trial’s over. The small print: $249.99/month for professional subs (can’t wait to save that penny), $50/month for individuals. Too much, Hoov. Sorry.

  1. Doc,

As a fellow, you should have access to the this and probably an amazing range of things via the library. http://lib.harvard.edu Check in with the library staff to make sure you have full access arranged. Also, ask them to setup for you proxy or VPN access so that you can access all of their resources. They have one of the greatest libraries on the face of the planet. Enjoy!

I hope all is going well in Boston and look forward to seeing you soon.

  2. You’re right, Todd. I should take advantage of that. Still, can’t resist to give a lame marketing campaign the crap it deserves. 🙂
