Blog of the Day: A Salute to Chief Wiggles

Straight from Iraq

This guy seems to be the real deal – a US Army intelligence
officer currently running an Iraqi EPW camp north of Bagdad, who whips
out his
laptop late at night in his tent or sitting out under the stars, and
blogs insightful descriptions of his day on the job. The
writing is uneven, great at times, not so great at others, but the
immediacy is impressive, and so are the
photo slideshows
.

I passed your words on to the Chief. He apologizes for the times when his writing isn’t the best, no excuses, just 18 hour days. He hopes that people will enjoy what he writes and takes it for what it is, a journal that he decided to share. It was meant for friends and family, but has grown a bit beyond that.

If you ever have any questions for him, feel free to email them to me and I will pass them along.

    Regards,
