Hackers Huddle in the Desert

Increasingly nervous about an escalating series of security flaws with the potential to make the Internet insecure at best and unusable at worst, an elite group of “black hat” hackers and security experts are meeting in Las Vegas to try to secure the underpinnings of the system. Although hackers are known to love virtual mischief, out and out havok would benefit no one and could endanger lives and livelihoods.
