Nipple Clampdown in Thailand

Sounds painful. Actually, the Dowbrigade has always held that our culture’s open acceptance
of the MALE nipple, while completely banning the FEMALE version from mainstream
media, was an example of blatant sex discrimination. We sure hope those
"Nipple stickers" hit stores stateside in time to stuff Norma Yvonne’s
stocking!

Thai police could be sent to fashion shows to make sure the models are
not baring their breasts. The Thai Culture Ministry is reportedly worried about the increasing
number of exposed breasts on catwalks and the growing use of ‘nipple
stickers’ amongst teenage girls.

The stickers, used by models to prevent their nipples being exposed
on the catwalk, are proving popular with teenagers who wear them, instead
of bras, underneath transparent tops.

Hmm.. I used to hear Thailand’s strictly a modest, conservative country. I wonder why this. Maybe models are wearing nipple covers, eh?

  2. Nice blog. I’ve added it to my favorites.
