New iPod “Signature” Line

It
is hard for the Dowbrigade to comprehend why anyone would want to give
an extra $50 to Apple for a few extra scratches on the back of an already
overpriced hunk of metal and plastic.

 Nevertheless.the transparently commercial
U2 iPod has been a huge success, and like most commerical successes
has ispired scads of immitators as well as variations and sequels by
the original manufacturer.

As evidence, check out this page featuring some
of the in-the-works new models in Apple’s line of "Signiture iPods".

The list of soon to be released models includes
Christina Aguilar, Coldplay, R. Kelly, Metallica, P. Diddy, Nirvana
and Hootie and the Blowfish.

The only "Signature" model that might tempt the
Dowbrigade would be a personalized "3 Stooges" model.
