Bush Signs Treaty with Genghis Kahn

President
lauds Mongol leader’s hard line against terrorism, calls Mongolia a "firm
US ally."

Today in Ulaan Baatar, capital of the Mongolian Empire, President Bush
was finally able to claim success on his much-maligned
swing through Asia. After being snubbed by the Japanese, ignored by the
Chinese
and threatened
by the Koreans, he managed to sign a non-aggression and anti-terrorist
cooperation pact with Genghis Khan, Emperor of All the Mongols.

"Emperor Khan
is a steadfast ally of the United States and has been instrumental in
the united front against terrorism.  In addition, we are heartened
by the Khans recent reforms designed to introduce Democracy to his hourdes,"
according to the President.

Bush displayed
his famous sense of humor when, commenting on the relative scarcity
of Mongols in the United States, he playfully put his arm around Emperor
Khan and joked, “Some of my best friends are Mongoloids!”
