On September 20, 2012, the seven initial service Hubs met at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society in Cambridge, MA to convene a Digital Hubs Pilot Project kick-off workshop. The object of the workshop was to discuss the key elements of the second version of the DPLA Hubs Data Provider Agreement, as well as to review the Hubs project timeline, which included a group assessment of targets and goals, a strategy and planning session, and a virtual exhibition and community engagement strategy brainstorming session. Hubs participants also provided brief introductions to their respective digital libraries and institutions.
