The Bookworm Project explores new means of library data visualization.  The Sprint project creates a simple graphical interface for displaying search results in context, by means of data visualizations that can leverage existing library catalogs as well as full-text scans. The prototype uses metadata and books collected by the Open Library. It at once describes the contents of the library as a whole in a useful and intuitive way, and at the same time allows patrons to focus on areas or works of interest.
