In August 2012, the Nominating Committee will meet to discuss and prepare a slate of candidates for the inaugural DPLA Board. Among other duties, the Board will formally launch the search for an Executive Director, approve foundational documents prepared by the Governance workstream, including a charter and bylaws, set an initial budget, and consider such important decisions as staff size and organizational structure for the new DPLA non-profit organization. The Steering Committee will meet and approve the Nominating Committee’s slate in late-August.
