March 21st, 2005 byAccording to the following email requoted from Stay Free blog, Christo’s indulgent ambition extends beyond his beautiful installations to the design of fantastical IP protection schemes.
Christo’s publisher claims a vast new degree of copyright and trademark protection. They claim they will prosecute anyone who sells their own original photos of The Gates; who makes and sells a drawing of The Gates or who even uses the words, The Gates, without their permission….They also claim to have an agreement with the media that media sources may only use news photos of the gates for the period the installation is up. That after that the media will only be allowed to use “official” photos of The Gates.
If this is the case, it seems to upend the assertion on Christo’s website that following the deployment of “the Gates”(tm)(c), “The people of New York used the park as usual.”

Hi, – came across your internet page by accident when drifting across the net this morning, and pleased that i did! I like the design and colors, but I ought to point out that I’m having issues when it loads. I’m using iCab 4 internet browser for mac, and the footer would not lineup well. i’m fairly certain I’ve made use of exactly the same design on a client’s online site, but the menu seems O.k on mine. I suspect the problem is with my outdated browser & just maybe today’s the day to change for a better one!

What did you do, just say whatever it’s you wanted to make individuals mad?! You cant just say some thing like that and not give any backup for it! Youve got to a minimum of give me a reason to believe that you simply know what youre talking about, otherwise, you just sound like some kid with a grudge! I am not confident about the layout, it’s a bit dull. but i want it to be rather minimalistic and not possess too much colour as we can all post photos in a variety of styles. so i believe thats better
