I’m three days into my return to law geekdom, but I’m not getting my first assignment to this afternoon. Then, it’ll be time to return to thinking in terms of the billeable hour.

electronic dog leashes! hehe i do not miss my crackberry days. for the first week it made me feel “important” that i needed to be reached for “urgent matters”. then i realized it was a way for me to work 24 hours a day. haha. hope you’re having a great first week!

there’s a strike taking place about 1.5 blocks from my office — the noise somehow made it up 17 floors, so i’m working while wearing ear plugs.

well could be worse
they could give you something with vnc on it so you can connect to your work servers and perform tasks on them while you’re at home…
