Reversed Curse – Kerry – Room Service

THE RED SOX WON!

I love the byline of the Globe’s lead story, “Pigs can fly, hell is frozen, the slipper finally fits.” The Cards gave them a victory without much of a fight, but I am elated.

Perhaps I have been influenced by the farting Dubya Bush that we set off during doc review, but I am going to stop being so wishy washy about the presidential campaign.  I’m still pissed off by Kerry, but at least I don’t think he’s a liar.  So, based off of integrity alone, I am voting for Kerry.  I hope the World Series is a good omen for the presidential race.

As a kid, I always that it would be fun to live in a hotel.  But the Westin’s “Heavenly Beds” and the client’s generous approval of mini-bar and room service expenses are a poor substitute for home.  The projections on when this assignment will end are all over the place; initially it was 2 weeks, then it was January.  Today, someone got my hopes high and said perhaps Thanksgiving.

I won’t take my cues from sports. Both the football and baseball victories proved to be poor omens.
