Tangy Swearing

An interesting obit on William A. Mitchell, creator of Poprocks, Cool Whip, and Tang.  It’s from the Atlantic Monthly, a publication esteemed by Toasty and despised by Finch.

It’s not every day that one is simultaneously called a “Godd*mn, Dirty Communist Capitalist Pig,” but I am having one of those days.  This was right before meaning administered three separate oaths to uphold the U.S. Constitution and the California Constitution.

    When I worked at the USC School of Medicine, one of the administrative assistants told me a storty of how she met Willam A. Mitchell. She told me this guy invents all of the creepy 50’s food products, and that he wouldn’t eat any of them. He called them all poison.
