Little White Spots

For those of you who know a thing or two about personal maintenance:  What is the cause of those tiny, solid, whitehead-type spots in the soft, under-eye tissue area?  Is there any way to make them go away?  I just noticed that I have a few more than usual under my right eye, and I want to know if I should discontinue using my eye cream.

Seven days left to Christmas, and so much shopping left to do.  This holiday is much more difficult when one is a full-fledged adult.  So far, the only shopping that I have accomplished is a gift for my secretary, and 15 tins of peppermint bark for my aunts and uncles.  I wish that I still had the starving student excuse.

I think those white spots are like clogged tear pores. You can check with a opthamologist, but I think you can clean them with hot compress.
    CLOSE YOUR EYE
then put a warm compress on your face to increase blood flow and loosen the deposit.
    then let it cool down.

I heard from someone that you can use baby shampoo (which is eye safe) and rinse out the inside of your eye to clean that spot.
But I’d check with an opthamoligyst about that one. Esp cause I can’t spell it.

    Are these inside the eyelid?

I still have to buy cards!

No, these aren’t inside the eye, they are on the outside. On the botton half of the arc beneath my eye.

i know of these; i have them. you need to start drinking more water and using an eye gel (like st. ives cucumber face stress gel) in addition to your eye cream. also, splash some cool water on your face periodically during the day, don’t dry, and then apply some more gel + cream. i know, i know: i don’t *look* like a metrosexual, but the skin on my face has looked much better in the past 6 weeks since i adopted the Zoolander motto: “Moisture is the essence of beauty.” *sighs*: has my life come to this?

I acutally have the same bumps under my eyes too. When I went to the dermatologist, she told me they were warts. Teeeny tiny warts. I was like, “there is no way that these things are warts. they just look like tiny whiteheads that do not go away.” But I guess that’s what they are. She prescribed genital wart cream for them! I was grossed out at at first but acutally most of them went away but I still have a few left.

You can’t be serious, tiny warts?  Methinks the diagnosis is
milia, blocked sweat ducts, which can be cleared with a good
facial.  Time to redeem my certificate to the spa at the
    Huntington.

Girl, a facial will not get rid of milia. You have to have it removed, I think.
