discovering dahl

suitcase small  DeVar Dahl is one of the featured poets in New Resonance 3: Emerging Voices in English

Language Haiku  (Edited by Jim Kacian and Dee EvettsRed Moon Press 2003).  Even better

than discovering his haiku is being able to share them with you, thanks to his generosity.

DeVar is a school teacher in Alberta, Canada and is President of Haiku Canada.

[Choosing the first pair to share was not easy.]

heavy foot
suddenly light
