Live at the confirmation hearings!

June 28, 2010 | Comments Off on Live at the confirmation hearings!

The Senate Judiciary Committee began hearings on Monday to consider the nomination of former HLS Dean Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court.  Throughout Kagan’s confirmation hearings, I will be offering daily analysis of the proceedings.

During the Roberts and Alito Supreme Court nominations, I worked on legal and constitutional issues as Senator Edward Kennedy’s chief counsel. Previously, I practiced “private public interest” law for 23 years in Washington, D.C., after 17 years of practice in all three branches of the federal government and as head of two nonprofit advocacy groups. I’m looking  forward to being part of this historic occasion.
