Tichawangana is a digital media entrepreneur and the founding editor of one of Zimbabwe’s biggest content platforms, the award winning lifestyle, arts & culture website, Zimbo Jam which is the flagship project of his business, Exist Digital.
Since 1998 he has experimented with building websites and using them, first as tools for promoting various organisations and then as vehicles for storytelling.
Through his work with Zimbo Jam and numerous other online platforms Tichawangana has been at the forefront of online journalism, social media training and digital media innovation in one of the toughest economies in the world.
He is a 2015-2016 Nieman Journalism Fellow at Harvard University and the 2015-2016 Nieman-Berkman Fellow for Journalism Innovation.
Through this blog he shares some of the tools, insights, ideas and questions he encounters as he navigates the intersection of journalism, technology and humanity.
