Christmas Shorts

December 10th, 2010

Take a break from shopping and running around on this Sunday before Christmas and join us for the second annual program of short vintage films celebrating the season.  This year the HFA has partnered with local film series Zampano’s Playhouse to bring you an eclectic mix of films including cartoons, puppets, live action, home movies and vintage television.

The films from the HFA’s collection come from the Howard E. Burr Collection.   A film collector from western Mass, Doc Burr’s passion was for classic Hollywood features, but he also amassed a large collection of complementary short films.

Sunday, December 19th, 4pm at the Harvard Film Archive, Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, 24 Quincy Street, Cambridge

Free!

This program is appropriate for children and adults and is free to all. Running time is approximately 120 minutes.
