This article I got from ArsTechnica. India seems to be having a growing problem of computer waste from their IT boom.

In Europe, manufacturers will have to eliminate such harmful substances inside the machines by 2006.
Persoanlly I think computer waste is going to become a big problem in the future. Until more people work on figuring out how to recycle these things in a nice manner…
