Human Rights Watch (HRW) claims 38 “ghost detainees” held in CIA prisons are missing and in a letter sent to President Bush, the group demanded to know the whereabouts of the detainees.
According to HRW the suspects have been in U.S. custody since 2001.
“The Bush administration needs to provide a full accounting of everyone who was ‘disappeared’ into CIA prisons, including their names, locations and when they left U.S. custody,” said Joanne Mariner, Human Rights Watch (HRW) terrorism and counterterrorism director.[…]
