The Congress Party has finally settled on its Delhi candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.  It’s confirmed that it has chosen Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar, despite their role in organizing and perpetrating the pogroms against Sikhs in November 1984:

Sajjan Kumar’s is the prodigal return. After being out of the electoral fray for 10 years, following allegations of his involvement in the anti-Sikh riots, he looks lean and hungry, out to settle scores for being benched for the better part of the match.

Sajjan Kumar will be contesting in Outer Delhi.  Read victim affidavits regarding Kumar submitted to the Misra Commission and news on the Section 8B notice issued against him by the Nanavati Commission.
