I figured this day would pretty much be a write-off, a priori. There’s lab meeting, and the paper I haven’t read. There’s Dave’s manuscript to review. There’s my résumé to put together, and the PlanktonTech slides to start on. Might as well be realistic, admit defeat and not expect to get anything done today.
Read the lab meeting paper, read the Lazarus paper (which really does seem like quite a scoop after all… ah, fuck!), and that was about it.
