The Railscasts Project
Nobody here but us aspiring ror rockstars…
(Yes, this idea is a blatantly stolen from the Julie/Julia Project.)
The Blog:
Railscasts. Ryan Bates. Short Ruby on Rails screencasts containing tips, tricks and tutorials. Great for both novice and experienced programmers.
The Contender:
Corporate drone by day, renegade geek mama by night. Too old for musical theatre, too young for retirement, and too tired for anything else, Liana Leahy was looking for a challenge. Because raising two children under two and a half while pursuing a full time career in a male dominated field simply wasn’t enough.
336 days (or so) till Railsconf 2011. 224 railscasts and counting. One girl and a MacBook Pro.
How far will it go? Not likely I’ll get a movie deal out of it, but I’d settle for a free trip to RailsConf.
Coming soon to a github repository near you.

Hi! I really enjoyed your website! I am a recruiter for SF Bay Area, and New York. I saw your ruby knowledge and was very impressed. We offer very nice referral gifts for referring candidates that accept offers with us. Right now I can offer you an iPad from apple or $1000 cash if you will refer a few strong ruby developers (they must accept offer). Let me know! I will just need their name, email address, and/or phone contact information. I can contact them confidentially if you are more comfortable. Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best,
Matt DeRossett
