My philosophy of luxury
Feb 5th, 2012 by MrLuxuryFashionGuru
Luxury, fashion and style are all terms that are fairly tricky to pin down.
I believe the best style is your own individual style, as conformist or eccentric as you feel like that day, or decade. I think you can’t go wrong if you only buy and wear the things that suit your lifestyle, your figure, your budget, your needs. Or at least aren’t too far out from reality.

What is luxury?
–Luxury is being able to look nicer than you have to for the occasion. And nicer doesn’t have to mean more formal, or buttoned-up. You can choose to look more polished, more put together, or simply more thoughtful and interesting, all without sacrificing comfort or appropriateness That’s a luxury that you’ll enjoy all day, and that others will appreciate as well.
-Luxury is having the time, or help, to get done all the little things you have on your mental list. That’s yet another reason to cherish family, friends and personal assistants.
-Luxury is being to make thoughtful choices for yourself, even the little ones. Of feeling like you have some control over how you live your life. Did you choose to write that thank-you note on a vintage postcard rather then send an email, just because you felt like it? Well, good for you. Or did you decide, after much trial and error, that you really do prefer the standard coffee product at your local chain store? That’s fine too, be glad that you can luxuriate in the everyday!
-Luxury are the indulgences that are just for you, perhaps your own secret pleasures – those fine-gauge silk socks that feel wonderfully cool to the touch, or that richly moisturing hand-soap.
-Luxury is knowing you have the very best money can buy, or better. Your gadgets and everyday essentials are swathed in hand-stitched alligator, ostrich, lizard and python leathers. Your suits are bespoke and finished with personalised details. Your jewelry is primarily signed heirlooms.
-Luxury is access, convenience, and ease of mind.
