Internet & Society on Berkman Island

Hello all,

Internet & Society — Tuesdays 7:35 – 9:35pm EST — STARTS TONIGHT!
Open to all for At-Large Participation
Instructors: Colin Maclay and Robert Faris

The first meeting of Internet & Society, a course offered by the Berkman Center through the Harvard Extension School, begins tonight. The course is open for at-large participation via webcast in Second Life (and I believe the videos will be available statically on the course website as well). It is a very exciting opportunity for at-large participants because for the first time at-large participants will be able to participate directly in the live lectures. Teaching fellow Geoff McGovern will lead discussion during the webcast on Berkman Island and participants will be able to add comments and questions to the in-class discussion via the question tool. The course website is here: http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/lstu-e-120. Please join us!

Best, Rebecca
