boston legal

i want to show my class the setup to a deliberation from boston legal and wonder can i do it without copyright violation. how can they watch it, only on dvd from class, with sufficient assurance of stopping play at the point of deliberation. i’d like a digital file of the story with that as its end-point. may i rip what i have, which is a disc as pictured with copyright notice in such small font that it can hardly be deciphered, and make the file i want and need to teach my class?
