My research focuses on American political and diplomatic history. I have a M.A. in history from the University of Memphis. I am currently doing coursework with the Harvard Extension School. I am an adjunct instructor at a junior/ community college, and a presently teaching the second-half of the American history survey, 1877 to present. I have been researching the Know Nothing party in New Engand, especially in Massechusetts, during the mid-1850s.
