I hadn’t seen this for years, and it took a few minutes of searching to pull it up. I repost it here for posterity. It reminds me, too, that it is about time for a trombone-playing dinner party.
I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently. Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row.

My classes make freshmen want to add references,
And vandals cower when they talk to me.
I organized your conference with one hand tied behind my back,
and took every board and staff member out for drinks afterwards,
and then I drank Jimmy Wales under the table.
I can merge three articles with a single edit,
and summarize nationalistic disputes with a single sentence.
I wrote sensuous book-length prose about Wikipedia,
but I am not yet an admin.
