Rainy Days and Mondays (Don’t) Always Get Me Down

The good things, though, is that I’m not down. In fact, I’m feeling pretty damn good despite the gloomy weather. I had a good (although reasonably uneventful) weekend, I’ve got a short work week ahead of me, and my new haircut is short enough that there is absolutely no maintenance involved. This means no pomade is necessary to hold it down. It’s short enough that the Chia Pet syndrome I normally suffer from hasn’t yet begun. All I do is shower, run my fingers through it, and go. I feel so sassy…like Mia Farrow must have felt in the 60’s when she donned her pixie cut (see Rosemary’s Baby for an example).

OK – enough rambling. Time to get serious. Has anybody noticed how big Carrot Top’s arms are getting? I saw him on TV recently and his arms are HUGE. I’m concerned it could be steroids. Maybe he’s trying not to look like one of those terrible “girly men” that Arnold the Governator is so against? But if that was the case, you’d think he’d just cut his Little-Orphan-Annie-touching-an-electrical-socket hair.

Whatever.

Now you’ve got me wanting the hair cut – I’m too the point I’ve got to comb it in the morning and I just hate that.

Funny thing is – that in college – I had almost shoulder length hair and loved it – then started working and cut it all – and now can’t stand it long at all! Go figure.
