Home, Sweet Home

Yep. That’s where I am right now. When my alarm clock went off this morning, I just laid there and felt blah. The sniffles and minor aches were still there so I decided I should take it easy. I’m hoping that a day of rest will make whatever I’m fighting go away faster (and not get worse).

So, I rolled over and ended up sleeping an additional 4 hours. For the first time in years, I got over 12 hours of sleep! That may have been just what I needed – because I’m already feeling better.

And at least I’m not spreading whatever I may (or may not) have to my co-workers. Besides, I’ve accrued 26 sick days – musn’t let them go to waste.

    Thanks for your concern, Will.
Thanks for your accusations, Chris! LOL

Actually, I’m not really sick…I just want to avoid getting sick because I’ve had the early symptoms for a few days.

…and I want to be well for my trip to Washington, DC on Friday!

rest up now, because when you come down you may not get very much sleep. i plan on keeping you up and partied out for most of the weekend.(everybody! this weekend, karl has agreed to learn how to dance…as long as hes surrounded by leather and bears!)

you can get sick when you leave! just remember to take your germs with you when you go. LOL

Um, my dear readers, Chris is apparently smoking something because those words “agreed to learn how to dance” have never been uttered from these lips…and never will be.

My reasons for this trip were to see Chris and to see the city. The nightlife is just an added perk.

Karl, ask Cris if the bar in a kind of industrial area is still open where the guys dance naked on the bar and the atmosphere is hot and raunchy and a great deal of fun. If you won’t dance (as I won’t, ever) you can place a couple of dollars in a sock or wherever(!) and some sexy man will do it for you.

will: (“WET” and “The Edge”)yeah it sure is! id been living here for more than 4 years before id set foot in there…i had no idea it was so raunchy. this is no urban legend: if you tip the dancers well enough you can TASTE their tools. and if the sexual energy gets to be too much for you, you can always party it up with the drag queens.

whether or not our karl will be up for it is another story (but one of the weekends events is near the aforementioned bar).
