Letting off Steam
I think I’m becoming animated. I swear.
You know how in old-school cartoons, when a guy is really angry his face turns read then steam comes out of his ears? Well, that was me last night. I wasn’t angry, but I had just finished the final exam so I felt like all of this stress was just being drained from my body. Apparently, my body’s way of releasing that stress was for my ears to turn bright red (they do that when I blush, too).
I swear – my entire head felt feverish. If it was humanly possible, my red ears would have been accompanied by bursts steam (and maybe even that whistle noise cartoons depict).
HMMM – the more I think of it – it’s kind of like my brain was working so hard on the exam that, like an engine, it started heating up.
Am I a freak?

we know and love you for being a freak, theres no question of that.
the weather here in DC is a balmy 60+ degrees, but when you arrive its going to drop some 25 degrees, which can be a blow to your immune system (it is to mine). drink your OJ and take it easy before your flight, as this is a big stress point for you. OMMMM no stress.

Duh, of course you are. The blushing ears and engine-like brain have nothing to do with it, cartoon boy.
Freak! Your new theme song could be Freak!’o4 by George Michael.
But your freakiness is why we all love you Karl.
Have fun with Chris and company in DC!!
