2-حجم هوادهی ساید چنل : میزان هوادهی یا دبی ساید چنل که با توجه به ابعاد پروانه ، تعداد پروانه (تک پروانه یا دوپروانه) و توان الکتروموتور مشخص میگردد، هوادهی ساید چنل بر حسب متر مکعب بر ساعت m3/h یا فوت مکعب در دقیقه cfmبیان می شود. درواقع ارتباط بین میزان فشار و حجم هوادهی بر اساس نمودار های شرکت تولید کننده ساید چنل مشخص می شود که می توان با مشخص کردن یکی از این دو مشخصه مقادیر دیگر را بدست آورد ، بطور ساده می توان گفت زمانی که مد نظر ما ساید چنل با میزان فشار بالا باشد به همان نصب حجم هوادهی کاهش می یابد و بلعکس می توان ساید چنل با حجم هوادهی بالاتری انتخاب کرد که میزان فشار تولیدی کمتری داشته باشد.
