Invitation to “Robotics and Sport Science” @Italy-Japan Workshop 2017

with Prof. Paolo Dario

On December 8th, 2017, at Waseda University, I was invited to “Robotics and Sport Science”, Italy-Japan Workshop 2017.

I gave a Keynote speech, entitled  “Social impact of AI/Robots: contributions to Tokyo Olympics 2020 and after” in this conference.

After the conference, we had a wonderful Reception at the Embassy of Italy.

It’s a great honor to meet H.E. Giorgio Starance, Ambassador of Italy and we had a very nice conversation, especially about cultural differences between Italy and Japan.  At the end of the reception, all of us sang our Waseda university song together!
