Werner de Saeger

I currently teach at the University of Brussels (ULB) as well as part-time at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, both tutorials in colleges, and lecture classes.

After having read law, history, and philosophy at various European universities, as well as having studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I graduated from Harvard University in Theological Studies, and from the University of Cambridge in the Study of Religion. I went on to become a research fellow at the Sorbonne in Paris on a Biermans-LapĂ´tre fellowship, later I received the Canon Symonds Memorial Scholarship at Gladstone’s Library in Wales, and after that I was a visiting research scholar at Harvard’s Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection in Washington DC.
