Winning or truth-telling?

Song for the day? How about Back in the USSA by Andrei Sitov, the Washington Bureau Chief of ITAR-TASS News Agency of Russia. (This one, too, via Wood’s Lot.) Reminded me also of my imaginary poll question.

  1. I read an excerpt on Joel’s blog and wanted to see the whole article but this link seems to be broken. Do you know another site with this? Sounds like something all Americans should read.

  2. The link indeed doesn’t work at this time (Friday a.m.), and I wonder if it has anything to do w/ yesterday’s power outage in eastern N.A. I also can’t get through to Wood’s Lot (in Ontario), nor to the Toronto Star, although the Globe & Mail works. The article was on a site called “Slash Automedia,” and if it’s out of Ontario or that area, it might still be having server troubles. If you google “Andrei Sitov”, Slash Autonomedia comes up #3, as well as one or more other reprinted copies of the article. I’m going to wait a couple of days and see what happens to the Ontario-based links….
