Step 1 was super happy, Step 2 was rather happy, Step 3 was happy…with foreboding sadness, Step 4 is completely, utterly, grimy and sad.

誰也沒想、大陸出的 Nintendo Wii盜錄強了吧。先打開時、看了也很可笑、但是想想、中國人是要有很好的電子工程系直覺才可能做出這樣超小的電動機。Vii的裡面就有兩個小東西、一種6×6小型電路板和一塊金屬加重量。

I had meant to write about this earlier, but I finally got a picture of the warning signs that are taking over the Stanford campus. The above sign’s purpose is obvious: don’t ride your bikes into cars. It’s dangerous. You may get hurt. Stanford students, with their lack of common sense, must of course rely on these signs for daily survival.

AIM’s Pixnay, a service which allows users to upload pictures of themselves to be ranked by the AIM community for “hotness bragging rights” really is an interesting display of web-culture, and the extent of narcissism truly present in society, but usually hidden.

I’m certainly not calling those who take part in the system narcissistic, but the fact that thousands of people have taken the time to take “the perfect pictures” of themselves to be ranked by others shows, perhaps, the true interests and insecurity of the general public. Pixnay is a semi-anonymous “rate how I look from 1 to 10” for the masses.

With some Photoshop work, my green screen photo has been appended next to a photo of Korean singer Hyori. Amusing indeed.
