Tools

I will be updating this post as I come across new interesting tools. So, let’s get started. First and foremost, this compellation is possible because of my peers in T-509 Massive class at HGSE. So, thank you.

PowToon: creating animated presentations and uploading on YouTube.

Diigo (thanks to my dear colleague, Carli): Diigo use in Chrome, with the Web Collector https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/diigo-web-collector-captu/oojbgadfejifecebmdnhhkbhdjaphole?hl=en.

Storify: create stories, dragging tweet posts and other sources into one place.

Pearltrees and  ScoopIt: similar idea to Storify: creates custom content.

NodeXL: yet to figure out what exactly it is and what value does it create

MockFlow: for wireframing.

Data visualization tools from Harvard Law School library (especially curious generally about Infographics and specifically about Data Visualization Fundamentals with Bill Shander)

Scratch: yet to investigate this amazing resource.

The classics, of course: Twitter, blogging, Canvas, Google Docs.

More to be added subsequently.
